Membership terms

1. Who operates Book Corner
Book Corner, available at EnchantedTBR.com, is operated by TBR Treats, based in Texas, United States. In these Terms, “we” means TBR Treats and “you” means the member using Book Corner. Contact us at EnchantedTBRTreats@gmail.com for account help, complaints, privacy questions or copyright concerns.
These Terms cover Book Corner. Purchases made through the separate TBR Treats TikTok shop are governed by the terms and purchase information presented there.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and have reached the age of legal majority where you live. Register with accurate account information and an email address you control. Verify your email before signing in. Keep your password private and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Book Corner does not require an authenticator application. Optional persistent sign-in is available for up to 30 days; use it only on a device you trust. You can revoke connected sessions in Settings. Your browser may separately offer to save your credentials.
3. Membership and current availability
New members receive a seven-day Premium trial without entering payment information. After the trial ends, the account becomes Free unless another valid Premium entitlement applies. Premium expiration preserves saved reading records, although Premium tools may become unavailable.
Premium is US$15.99 for one year, plus the tax shown before payment. The initial checkout total at the currently configured 8.25% rate is US$17.31: US$15.99 membership and US$1.32 tax. A qualifying renewal may use your protected original membership price. The amount and tax are disclosed before you enter payment information.
Choose a one-time annual payment with no automatic renewal, or expressly authorize annual automatic renewal. Automatic renewal is optional and requires a separate authorization at purchase. Square hosts the payment page and stores any card you authorize for recurring use. Book Corner does not store card numbers or security codes. Registering, selecting a renewal preference, or finishing a no-card trial never authorizes a charge.
Each paid term begins on the individual member’s successful payment date and lasts until its annual anniversary. It does not reset at the end of a calendar year. For example, a successful payment on October 24, 2026 provides a paid term until October 24, 2027. Pending or failed payments do not grant paid access. A checkout return screen alone does not confirm a payment. Renew a paid membership after its paid-through date; an existing automatic renewal must be canceled before starting another membership.
An automatic plan renews annually at the membership price and tax disclosed for that plan until canceled. Use the prominent Cancel automatic renewal control in Settings to stop future renewal charges after Square confirms cancellation. Canceling does not end prepaid access while the service remains available. Contact EnchantedTBRTreats@gmail.com if you cannot cancel or have a billing problem. Account deletion requires closing open checkout links and canceling any active renewal first.
Your original membership price stays protected if renewal succeeds within seven days after paid access expires, whether you renew manually or automatically. These seven days do not extend Premium access. After that continuity period, renewal uses the then-current membership price. Taxes are shown separately from the protected membership price. If a delayed payment arrives at an expired protected price, it requires support review rather than automatically granting Premium; the previous automatic plan may be stopped to prevent further charges at that expired price.
No voluntary refunds are offered for cancellation, a change of mind, or permanent closure of Book Corner, including unused prepaid time. If Book Corner permanently closes, future renewal charges will be stopped. Nothing limits refunds or other rights required by applicable law. Canceling renewal and refunding a payment are separate actions. Free accounts and unpaid trials have no payment to refund.
Free membership includes manual book entry, Book Log, series tracking, Reading & Listening Time Log, Social and participation in site-managed clubs. Free Next Read use is limited to three successful picks per month. Free Social use permits five successful new follows or follow requests per day, combined, using your saved time zone. Canceling a request or unfollowing does not restore a used daily allowance.
Premium includes Habits / Progress, automatic book research, creation and editing of challenge programs and rewards, creation and joining of member-managed Premium clubs, Buddy Reads, and unlimited Next Read picks and daily Social follows. Research normally permits 20 successful searches per rolling hour. Trial members receive Premium features. Privacy rules, provider availability and abuse-prevention controls continue to apply.
4. Reading records, challenges and personal rewards
Each read of a book is a separate record, including rereads. Book Log changes correct your saved book information; forward progress entered in Habits / Progress records reading or listening activity. Session durations entered in the Time Log are separate from the page or audiobook position reached. Mark as finished in Habits / Progress sets the read to its saved total pages or listening duration, uses today in your saved time zone as the completion date, and adds only remaining forward progress to today’s activity. A missing total must be supplied first.
Enter your records and dates accurately. Challenge and reward results depend on the linked read and its saved status and completion date. A reward linked to multiple challenges requires all linked challenges to qualify. A completion date after the reward deadline does not qualify. Editing a linked read can change the calculated result; adding a separate reread does not replace an earlier read.
In-app rewards are personal goals you define. They are not money, credit, transferable prizes or a promise that TBR Treats will supply a product.
5. Clubs, Social and reviews
Clubs provide book-selection polls without chat or messaging. A club can have one current poll with two to ten choices. Voting is restricted to eligible club members. Each eligible member can vote once per poll; submitted votes cannot be changed. Club administrators control poll periods and the available result-visibility setting.
Free members can join site-managed clubs. Member-managed clubs require Premium. When a member club owner's Premium expires, changes and voting pause. After 90 days without active Premium, the club becomes inactive and its current poll is archived. Reactivating an inactive club requires a fresh poll. A paused poll can be managed under the administrator controls before that threshold.
Social sharing is optional. Public reading profiles permit immediate follows; private profiles require approval. There are no Social comments or direct messages. Use the block and report controls for unwanted interactions. Community reviews are visible to registered members only after the author submits them and the site administrator approves publication. Editing an approved review removes its publication pending review; withdrawing it removes publication immediately.
Buddy Reads is a Premium feature for two members who choose each other, with Social sharing enabled and approved follows in both directions. The invited member must accept and link their own matching book before progress is shared. Page and audiobook positions are shown separately; optional dates are personal goals and do not change reading records. Either person can end the read. Blocking, unfollowing, removing a follower or disabling sharing ends it; Premium expiry pauses shared progress. Account restrictions can also end collaborations and pause owned clubs.
In site-managed clubs, members may privately submit two title/author picks per voting cycle to the site administrator before voting opens. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in a poll. Premium member-managed clubs do not offer this suggestion feature. A selected club winner is featured from the first of the following month in the club owner's saved time zone. An optional completion box shares your name with current club members independently of Book Log progress.
6. Your content and acceptable use
You retain the rights you hold in your original notes, reviews and uploaded content. You give us a nonexclusive permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate the service and the sharing or publication features you choose. This permission does not make private content public. Backup retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not upload or link material you lack the right to use, impersonate someone, harass others, expose another person's private information, submit malicious code, defeat access controls or manipulate quotas, votes or accounts. Do not use the service for unlawful activities. Report a concern to our support email or through the available report controls.
Premium gives access to book research, not a guarantee that research will return complete or accurate information for every book or edition. You need to verify the supplied details against your book or a reliable source and correct them manually before saving.
Book metadata and cover images can come from third parties or member entries. Their presence does not transfer ownership to you or guarantee accuracy, permission for other uses, or endorsement by an author or publisher. Check an edition's details before relying on page counts, series information, genres, tropes or spice ratings.
7. Copyright and other complaints
For a copyright concern, email our support address with the affected Book Corner URL, identification of the work and disputed material, your relationship to the rights holder, and contact details so we can follow up. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may request additional information needed to evaluate the concern and may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing it. You can ask us to reconsider an action and provide supporting information.
This contact process is not a statement that we have registered a designated DMCA agent or qualified for a particular legal safe harbor.
8. Account restrictions, deletion and service changes
We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary to address a credible security threat, unlawful activity, an eligibility issue or a material breach of these Terms. When lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to seek review through the support email. Urgent protective action may occur first. We will consider relevant information you provide when reviewing a restriction.
You can download a reading-data backup and delete your account through Settings. Review the deletion confirmation carefully: live account and reading records are removed, owned clubs close, and aggregate club poll history may remain under the access rules in the Privacy Policy. Deletion does not immediately rewrite retained disaster-recovery archives. An owner account requires an ownership-transfer arrangement before deletion.
We may change or discontinue features as the service develops. For a material change affecting your account or these Terms, we will provide a notice through the site or an appropriate account communication, with advance notice where required. Changes will not be treated as accepted merely because a page was viewed. If fresh agreement is needed, we will ask for it. Mandatory rights and obligations relating to any future paid term remain protected.
9. Availability, responsibility and disputes
We aim to keep Book Corner useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or error-free third-party metadata. Keep your own exports of records important to you. Tell us about errors so we can investigate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class proceedings, set a blanket monetary liability cap or require you to use an exclusive Texas court.
Texas law governs these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory protections and court-access rights that apply where you live remain available. Contact our support email to try to resolve a concern; doing so does not prevent you from pursuing a remedy available under applicable law.
10. Policy versions
The Terms page displays its published version and date. Signup and the signed-in policy review controls record the specific Terms you accept and Privacy Policy you acknowledge. You can view those records and the corresponding text in Settings. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy is not blanket consent to every possible use of personal information.
